Dentist prices across England, compared with Turkey
We hold verified local price data for 11 cities in England. Each city page compares local quotes against the same scope in Istanbul, using that city's own published pricing rather than a national average.
Where the gap is widest in England
Across the England data we hold, the widest difference is Full Mouth Dental Implants in London: £23,990–£33,000 locally against £4,700–£11,000 in Istanbul, a midpoint difference of about £20,645 both arches. That is also the treatment where scope differences between quotes matter most, so check what each side includes before treating the difference as a saving.

Checking a dentist in England
Whatever you decide about travelling, verify the registration of any dentist you are considering at home. Dentists practising in England must be registered with the General Dental Council; the register is public and searchable at gdc-uk.org. It is the one check with an objective answer, and it takes a minute.
The rest (itemised quotes, named materials, who performs the surgery, what the guarantee covers) is the same list wherever you are treated. Each city page below carries it in full, and it applies to the Istanbul clinic exactly as much as to a practice down the road from you.
Cities we hold England price data for
Birmingham
Birmingham is the largest city in the West Midlands and the largest English city outside London. Birmingham Airport sits close to the city centre and the rail network, and patients from Coventry, Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country typically depart from here.
Bristol
Bristol is the largest city in South West England and Bristol Airport serves the wider region, including much of Somerset and South Wales. Patients from Cardiff frequently use it as an alternative to their local airport.
Leeds
Leeds is the largest city in West Yorkshire. Leeds Bradford Airport is the closest departure point, though many patients compare it against Manchester, which is well connected by rail and usually offers more routing options.
Leicester
Leicester is in the East Midlands, served by East Midlands Airport with Birmingham as an alternative. Rail connections to both are direct, which keeps the door-to-door time predictable.
Liverpool
Liverpool sits on Merseyside in North West England. Liverpool John Lennon Airport serves the city directly, and Manchester Airport is roughly an hour away by road or rail — worth checking, because the two often price very differently on the same dates.
London
London is the UK capital and its largest private dental market, which is the main reason local quotes here sit at the top of the national range. Five airports serve the city — Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City — so Istanbul is reachable from more than one departure point and fares vary widely between them.
Manchester
Manchester is the principal city of North West England and its airport is the busiest in the UK outside the London system, which makes it one of the easier departure points for treatment abroad. Patients from surrounding Greater Manchester towns generally use the same airport.
Newcastle upon Tyne
Newcastle upon Tyne is the principal city of North East England and Newcastle Airport is close to the city and on the Metro line. Patients from Durham, Sunderland and Northumberland generally depart from here.
Nottingham
Nottingham sits in the East Midlands and is served by East Midlands Airport, with Birmingham as a practical alternative. Both are close enough that fares on the same dates are worth comparing directly.
Sheffield
Sheffield has no commercial airport of its own, so travel planning here starts with a choice between Manchester, East Midlands and Leeds Bradford. That decision affects both fare and total door-to-door time, and should be settled before treatment dates are fixed.
Southampton
Southampton is on the south coast of England. Southampton Airport is close to the city, and Heathrow is within reach by road or rail — a routing many patients use when the schedule from Southampton does not suit their treatment dates.
Awaiting verified local pricing
These England cities are in our registry but we hold no published local price data for them yet. Each links to a page that says exactly what we do and do not know and points at the nearest city we have measured. We do not fill the gap with a state average.
Why this list is short
We publish a city page only where we hold verified local pricing for that city: published clinic price lists, dental directories or public fee schedules, dated and recorded. We do not generate a page for every city with search volume and fill the prices in from a national average, because a national average tells you nothing about what your own dentist would charge. If your city is not here, the nearest listed city is usually the better guide, and the planning handbook covers everything that does not vary by location.
