Dental Treatment in Antalya: What It Costs and How It Is Arranged

The short version

Which organisation does what

Three different things are often sold as one product in dental tourism, and when something goes wrong it matters which of them you were actually buying. This is how it is split here.

If any of these are unclear when you receive your plan, ask before you pay a deposit. A plan that cannot say plainly who is treating you is not a plan you should be acting on.

What is the same as Istanbul, and what is not

We have not put a "winner" column on that table on purpose. Neither destination is clinically better than the other and we are not going to pretend otherwise to move you towards one of them.

Full-arch cases (full mouth implants, and same-day full-arch work) are planned through Istanbul, where more than one discipline can review the case together. If you enquire about one of those, that is what we will tell you.

What treatment costs

Read the implant line carefully. £300 – £640 is the price of the implant fixture itself. The abutment and the crown that go on top of it are quoted separately, and the crown alone is £130 – £250. A restored single implant (fixture, abutment and crown together) therefore costs more than the first figure, and any comparison you make against a quote at home should be against that fuller number, not the fixture on its own.

Prices are held in pounds sterling and shown here in pounds. They are our published list, collected 2026-08-12, and your own quotation is issued in writing by the treating clinic after an assessment.

What moves the final number is the assessment, not the destination: how many units are actually involved, whether anything has to come out first, and whether there is work underneath a tooth that only shows once it is opened up. That is why the written quotation comes after an assessment and not before.

Planning the stay

Antalya is served by a single airport, Antalya Airport (AYT). Both the central districts and Lara sit roughly ten to fifteen kilometres from it, which is normally twenty to thirty minutes by road outside the summer peak and longer inside it. Confirm the timing with whoever is providing your transfer rather than assuming it, particularly for early appointments.

The Mediterranean coast runs a real season. The summer months are hot and the resorts are full; spring and autumn are milder and quieter; winter is the cheapest time to stay but the direct flight map from northern Europe thins out. None of that changes your treatment, but it changes what a week there costs you and how comfortable the days after surgery are. We do not publish flight schedules or fares, they change too often to be worth printing, so check current routes with the airline when you plan the dates.

Hotel and transfer arrangements, where you take them, are supplied by a travel provider and are not part of the clinical service. Which company is providing them is named in your booking.

Risks and limits worth knowing before you book

Treatment abroad concentrates the work into a short window, and that is its real trade-off. If something needs adjusting after you fly home, the adjustment is not fifteen minutes down the road. Ask what the guarantee terms cover, who pays for a return trip if one is needed, and how a problem is handled by a dentist at home in the meantime, before you commit, while you still have the leverage of not having paid.
