The part people underestimate is the middle. The laboratory stage sits between your appointments and it is not optional or compressible, so the week has a fixed shape whether or not you planned one. Two or three of the days are busy, the middle stretch is quieter, and the final fit is at the end: which is also why the departure flight should not be booked tight against it.

Planning it around the year

This is the treatment that fits a normal holiday week most closely, which is exactly why it needs a warning: the days are not free. Expect to be at the clinic on most of them, with the middle of the week the quietest part while the laboratory works.

The limits, stated plainly

Veneers involve removing enamel that does not grow back. That is a permanent change, and it is the reason a veneer case should never be agreed from photographs alone on the day you land.

Whitening, bonding or orthodontics can achieve part of the same result without touching the enamel, and they should be ruled out on the record rather than skipped.
