How patient stories, photographs and records are handled

Clinical photographs and patient stories should be published only with explicit, documented consent that states the channels, duration and withdrawal process. Identifying medical records should not be placed in public pages.

Case-study minimums

Every published case should state the diagnosis, treatment, material, duration, limitations and whether the patient received any incentive. Results vary and photographs must not be digitally altered to misrepresent outcomes.
