How DentistGuideTurkey commercial relationships work

Last updated: 12 August 2026

This page explains how the site earns money, what a clinic can and cannot buy, and where you should apply your own scepticism. We would rather set this out plainly than let you guess.

Where the money comes from

DentistGuideTurkey is a guide and introduction service, not a dental practice. We do not treat patients and we do not employ clinicians. When a patient we introduced goes on to have treatment, the clinic may pay us a referral or marketing fee. That is the main way the site is funded.

Two things follow from that, and both are worth stating rather than burying. First, we have a commercial interest in you choosing treatment in Istanbul rather than staying at home. Second, we have no commercial interest in you choosing a particular treatment, because our arrangement does not vary by procedure. When a page tells you that a cheaper option is clinically reasonable, or that a second trip is safer than compressing everything into one, that advice does not cost us anything.

We do not charge patients. There is no booking fee, no consultation fee and no commission added to your quote for having come through us.

What a clinic cannot buy

These are the limits we hold ourselves to. If you ever see us break one, the complaints procedure is the right place to raise it and we will treat it as a serious failure rather than a matter of taste.

How to tell commercial content from editorial content

Commercial content on this site is the part that asks you to do something: the package prices, the campaign pop-up, the WhatsApp buttons, the consultation form. It is written to persuade you, and you should read it the way you read any advertisement.

Editorial content is the part that tries to help you decide, including the cases where the decision is not to travel. Price comparisons, treatment explanations, city guides, the planning handbook and the aftercare material sit here. When those pages carry a figure, they carry a source with it. When we could not verify a figure, the page says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate that reads like a fact.

Prices we advertise

Our published prices are the prices the partner clinic charges for the scope described on the page. Single implant from £450. Hollywood Smile package at £1,990 for ten E-max veneers. All-on-4 from £3,200 per arch. The current campaign is twenty zirconium crowns with hotel, transfers, medication and an interpreter at £2,990, and it runs until the end of 2026.

Advertised prices are the starting point, not a binding quote. What you actually pay depends on an examination: the number of units you need, whether bone grafting or extractions are required first, and whether existing work has to be removed. Anyone who gives you a final figure for implants or full-arch work without examining you is guessing, including us.

We do not publish flight prices anywhere on this site. Flight times are stable enough to be useful; fares change daily and any number we printed would mislead within a week. Flight times are published, fares are not.

Affiliate links and third-party services

We do not run display advertising and we do not sell your details to third parties. Where a page links to an external clinic, a public price list, a professional register or a government source, that link is there because it supports something we have said. Those are not paid placements.

Some third-party services run on the site with your consent, including embedded video and analytics. What they do, and how to refuse them, is set out in the cookie policy.

What we would tell a friend

Read our comparisons alongside at least one source that has no interest in the answer: your own dentist, a national health service price list, or a professional body. If our figures do not survive that comparison, trust the other source and tell us where we are wrong.

Information only. Treatment suitability and final prices require an examination by a qualified dental professional.
