This policy explains how dentistguideturkey.com uses cookies and similar browser storage, what they do, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?

What we use and why
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
- dgtconsent — remembers the cookie choice you make on this banner (stored in your browser's local storage).
- dgtlang — remembers the region/language you select on your first visit.
- dgtpop — remembers that you closed the campaign popup so it does not reappear during your session.
These are set by us, never leave your browser, contain no personal data and cannot be switched off, as the site would not function as intended without them.
2. Preferences
Reserved for optional settings that improve your experience (for example, remembering a preferred currency in future). We currently store no additional preference cookies beyond those listed above.
3. Statistics
We do not currently run any analytics or measurement tools. If we introduce them in future, they will load only if you have consented to Statistics cookies, and this policy will be updated first.
4. Marketing & third-party content
Some pages embed videos from YouTube. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set cookies unless you press play. If you play a video, Google/YouTube may set cookies subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Flag icons and some photographs are loaded from third-party image servers (flagcdn.com, images.unsplash.com); these requests share your IP address with those providers but we set no marketing cookies ourselves.
How to manage your choice
- Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of any page to reopen the consent banner and change your selection at any time.
- You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; note that blocking necessary storage may affect how the site works.
